RECORD ON THE RANGE
Oceanic Records is a joint independent recording label and studio recording facility (Old Binda Road Recording Studio) located in the NSW Southern Tablelands. The label was founded in 2007.
A true recording label, Oceanic Records features a custom John Sayers-designed 4 room facility located on a peaceful 185-acre farm overlooking the historic village of Crookwell only 2.5hrs from the Sydney CBD and 1.5hrs from the National capital, Canberra.
Enjoying a crisp alpine elevation of 1000m atop the Great Dividing Range on the NSW Southern Tablelands, the studio provides a welcome escape from the city to clear your head and get creative in a beautiful, calm rural environment. Our facilities include free accommodation (sleeping up to 6 people) directly adjacent to the studio rooms available to any bookings of two or more days of studio time.
Owner/engineer Stephen Lindsay helms Oceanic Records' studio. He is one of eight composers worldwide chosen by Abbey Road Studios to help celebrate their 80th Birthday, and has been recorded by The London Symphony Orchestra and London Philharmonia Orchestra.
